Nice ! What breed is it ?

He is a mix breed.. I aquired some white spanish game hens that I bred to a hatch rooster (One eye Franky) -> They produced a black rooster I named Franky Black -> I then bred Franky Black to a hatch hen and they had a son (Black Snow). I bred Black snow back to the white spanish game hen and they produced my first white stag.

those go on their spurs? does that mean I have to trim them? I thought they made actual boxing gloves for birds? idk? I would just keep them separated. I like long spurs on my fowl.

The "gloves" do not work well when birds get into sustained scraps. A lot of damage can still come from use of wings and bill. Gloves are to be used under direct supervision.

yea direct supervision! lol wish my grey knew that! he got out again thru a 4"gap in a slat on his pen. all the other roos that play well with others in the yard were in neighbors yards till I got home and put him up! lol I see who runs my yard now! lol but my D'Uccle has some things to say about that! he cant stand the grey! always fighting thru the cage and getting the grey all bloody! I had to put him on a cord for a while! that was funny! talk about a david and goliath fight! smh... luckily there were no fights while he was loose! I made sure I fixed his pen before I put him up so that wouldn't happen again.

yeah you gotta trim them, they do make the actual boxing glove material one too and not only rubber ones
