Yea he WAS sadly he was ripped to pieces with every other bird I had last night by a pack of dogs so now I need to start over so I'm looking for new birds chicks eggs cheap or free

Yeah I should start with peacomb first. I would like to see someone do it first. I like to learn by watching/copying someone else who knows what they are doing. I need to invest in some nice sissors or razors too.

Check on youtube they have videos on it. Shows them doing it. Looks easy enough but I would be afraid to hurt one of my babies. I can't even take a splinter out of one of my kids fingers because I might hurt them. Same thing with one of my chickens. had to even take a dog to the Vet to have porcupine quills removed a few years ago. When I saw the pain I gave him I was in tears. On someone else rooster i could do it in a minute, but mine are like my kids.

They look very bright for hatches. My hatches come in dark brown typically. My greys look lighter, like these ones.

I just got a new roo today because all but 2 birds on my yard were killed by dogs yesterday this new one is one of the most attractive and wild acting and looking birds I've seen in a long time the guy said if I could catch it I could have it because nobody has been able to in years its a mainland junglefowl x yokohama or so I'm told but this is from a pretty trust worthy sorce too, this bird flew the length of 2 or more football fields and took two hours to catch but it was worth it and if I didn't know better I'd say it had pheasant in it lol I dubbed him when I got him home still have to do his lobes but ill get more pics soon bug me about it or I may forget
