Yeah my greys always came real dark guess the opposite of you. Let me say the reg. greys came real dark and the buttermilk hens came light like the rubles

These pics really don't do him justice ill get more once he's out of isolation I just got a new roo today because all but 2 birds on my yard were killed by dogs yesterday this new one is one of the most attractive and wild acting and looking birds I've seen in a long time the guy said if I could catch it I could have it because nobody has been able to in years its a mainland junglefowl x yokohama or so I'm told but this is from a pretty trust worthy sorce too, this bird flew the length of 2 or more football fields and took two hours to catch but it was worth it and if I didn't know better I'd say it had pheasant in it lol I dubbed him when I got him home still have to do his lobes but ill get more pics soon bug me about it or I may forget

You have been running almost all afternoon. At least it didn't take you long to catch Fancy, and poo girl. I came close to catching poo baby about 30 minutes ago but he was to quick, and got away again. At least Trouble was easy we just had to pull him out of the pen.

He is the big baby around here. Maybe if I leave my girls in the coop tomorrow, and open my gate he will come in the yard.

Oh and if you ever get any babies by this one. I sure would love to have one. Love that tail.

When I first went to the breeder pens the mean bull stag I been working with was all the way in the back corner and the hen was out with her brood. When I went in to gather the chicks he didn't move so I'm guessing she put him in his place earlier in the day lol

I have 1 hen that puts my rooster in his place. I love how she whoops his backside if he gets out of place. He is catching on finally after 2 years of it.

He is a slow learner. I noticed the other day that my pecking order is changing and my 2 odd balls are now at the top. Strange how that happened??? Before they were at the bottom and not now.

Folks you cannot not tell by looking at a bird what bloodline it represents. If you think you can then I will post some of mine and I will be able humble you pretty quick.
