Thanks everyone for your condolenses. I found a clutch of eggs that my white hen was stashing... Modern was the father... hopefully the eggs are in good condition still. I put them in the incubator this morning.

No worries. Hen looks good. Rooster too.. I have a 2014 stag looks a lot like yours.

For what it's worth I don't like bantams either.
All shipped eggs go right in the incubator. Sometimes you can't tell if the air cell is loose until a few days of development.
I would take the birds over snakes any day. Lol
