How long does it take for the feathers to grow back. I'm new with roosters and hens

my roo has been tailless for almost a month and now has about 3-5" of tail growth. I expect him to have a full tail by spring. I have him on an 18% gamecock feed with about 20# of scratch and 5-10# BOSS, I also give them catfood before bed
