oh I have a lil something for 'em. I been working them, they dealt with it woulda rather me not mess with them but all of a sudden man to the point of hitting the pen waist high when I walk past. The problem isn't getting them out the problem is trying to unlatch the door and them hitting it. Yesterday one knocked a spur off. I have around 15 or so chicks and a hen ima let set. Try to work them more to see how they come out. I was also told by a friend of mine they should calm down with age like after 2 but that's if they make it that far

Might be good for some attitudes.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with ruble hatch? Wanting to know if their bull stags are vial, hates everything, super aggressive, hot headed, f the world attitude having animals. I was told by the breeder that they can be " temperamental " sometimes, TEMPERMENTAL! Yeah that's an understatement. They were fine till about a month ago handles descent. I mean no they didn't love it but tolerated it, but now ****. Ima have to get me some snake chaps.

I need me some snake chaps just to go to my mail box. The neighbor has 2 fully grown GLW roosters, both are man fighters. I hate them things. I knocked the daddy out one day with the broom and ran for my gate as fast as I could. I have scars all over my legs for just getting my own mail.

I have been told though with games that you can bring them up to be handled daily, and not have issues. Look at the folks that use them for illegal purposes they handle them daily, and they are like little puppy dogs to their owners. Just not to other roosters. With my little game eggs, I will be bringing up any little ones that hatch out by hand so I will give that a try, and see if handling can be done daily and they will be nice. I sure hope so.

These have been handled just like I handled back in the day, after thinking what prolly happened is these are hot headed and being not handled like that for generations cause the game is illegal made them wild. Yeah man fighters were culled on the spot. * just to be clear I don't do any illegal activities with my fowl now*

I don't think many people do any more, and those that do wouldn't be on forums about the breeds and other things. However many way back did I guess handle them all the time and got them adjusted to being held by humans, and following humans around every wheres. I handle all of my roosters big and small, and when just one shows me any aggression it's culled and on my table the next day for dinner. I just want games, because to me they aare so pretty. But mine are for me to enjoy and relax with like my little man. He loves to be hand fed, was doing that with him today for awhile. He loves it. Or maybe I am just babying him way to much

No not babying doing what should be done. Games are beautiful but certain games aren't as expendable as what I call "normal" backyard chickens due to their history and selective breedings. They aren't as easy to get hold of so I'm holding off culling and gonna work on the biddies but well see

Sometimes man-fighting can come from husbandry technique. If bird acquired from someone known to have man-fighters in yard, especially of genetic backgrounds then evaluation of such as bird as genetically prone to such may not be best. If offspring produced, especially when bred within the same line, then make him into dumplings.

I free-range rear mine and until recently raised many on walks where they did not have humans within 20 feet until I caught them off roost and brought them into yard. During the tame down process you should be able to get even the flighty birds to calm down with proper conditioning. With birds I free-range rear at home the taming process started with their mothers.

I agree that's why I'm trying to find others with these to see if it's an inherent trait or if it's pretty much just these. If it's for the most part just these I know they must need more attention which honestly will be rather hard with my work schedule and them not being the only ones I have or if it's inherent at least I know it's not all me. They came from a breeder out of state so I haven't had the opportunity to walk his farm.
