Is there a book or a website I can get that will tell me all the breeds of American game and their behavior and how to tell them apart
I'm new to raising them and it seems overwhelming lol

I think there is a book on Amazon called American Gamefowl but not 100% on the name.

This isn't fair. Lol I guess your out hunting. Last Thursday two days before the opener I smoked the transmission in my jeep. I can't get back to where I needed to go with my wife's car. Bad luck!

No hunting just yet. There's a street that has marsh on both sides and u just launch wherever. Envision launching in your ditch. There are 2 actual launches but those with surface drives launch wherever. I sold my long tail and was gonna get a surface drive but time crept up on me now I have a boat and just a trolling motor on back but luckily I know of a few spots where I go into the woods and it opens up into the marsh.

I can't see doing it for my birds. I only do it if there is serious threat of them losing something. The way I see it is they are hardy enough to take care of some cuts like those themselves. Also you really have to watch guineas I've had some kill chicks that wandered to far.

IMO the cuts would probably heal on their own, but why risk them getting infected and having a bigger pain in the a** to deal with? Your right about the guineas I used to like them but now I hate them with a passion. God they are the most annoying animal I have ever come across. My wife likes them. Why I havent got a clue.

I'm getting a new truck tomorrow. So I'll be back in business for duck hunting. Got 218,000 miles out of the jeep. I've been driving it since I was 19, 33 now so 14 years of use ain't bad. Terrible timing though. Got cold this past week had to ride my bike 40 miles to work in 30 degree temps.

I ride a KLR 650 about same distance when well below zero F. Key to making it not so extremely incredibly terribly unpleasant is to use a snowmobile suite and extremely good gloves.

I love my tundra 290,000 miles and all I hear are the fuel injectors. I do need shocks though and I need to change the timing belt again.
