Let the guy dream. Its very possible to breed blue egg gamefowl. it would just take a few years if you using Easter Eggers. It would have to be like 7/8ths to 15/16ths gamefowl blood, while keeping the blue egg genes through each generation. They may not be the best, but if you have good gamefowl to start it is definitely possible

I fully understand how you would attempt to breed it out while keeping the egg color. I’m curious who who wouldn’t lose their minds when a game hen they just bought lays green eggs nowadays. Uh huh I’d be pissed. There’s so many good families of gamefowl why would you go backwards for an egg color. That makes zero sense. Paas makes a very nice egg dyeing kit.

Whos knows why people do things?.. .Why would anyone want Dom colored gamefowl, or white or black for that matter?

I would guess for fame or recognition... If I bred a line of exceptional fowl that laid blue/green eggs, I could attach my name to it and be famous for many years, much like Bobby Boles, Hatch or Kelso did with their fowl.

Pipe dream. Unless you move out of this country it isn’t happening. Those birds were developed my many more people than just those that attached their name to it. You breed junk in now and you’ll never attach your name to more than a turd.

Besides most of those birds weren’t named by the individual who bred them it was usually someone else because of how good they were. I suppose you can attach your name if you want to but it’s a little weird in my book. It’s kinda pathetic like giving yourself a nickname.

You can breed it down as far as you like it's still there and will show its face for better or for worse eventually just like the truth.

I suppose if you find enough people that are interested in some kind of egg color fad out of gamefowl. So far the two people that I see interested in it are far behind the power curve. So I don’t see it happening. Maybe if I have great grandkids one day they’ll come across some gamefowl that have modern, and Easter egger bred into them that wouldn’t get their *ss handed to them by a silkie but I doubt it.
