Thought I would show you guys some photos of my Law Gray. Here's what they looked like a few days after hatching.

Here they are today.

Sorry this last one is a little out of focus, I'm 99% certain this is a rooster. It moves like a rooster and is growing tiny spurs already. Sucker is so fast I couldn't get a clear shot of him.

When grown he should look like the bird in my avatar, golden duckwing.

is there a line that is better for a beginer {slp?}

from what I have seen I like the Law Gray, and the Pumpkin Hulsey. I really just don't know where to start. I come here and look, then MAllens page, then eggs on ebay, and then is starts all over again. There are some been lines, and colors, and this feeling like games are a world away from all other chicken.
I had a hen once, was going to keep her but she was very wild and when I gave away my other birds some got the few hens I was going to keep. But she was really something, even had spurs. I had 2 roo too, but they had to be mix cuz they were buddys. they would not roost with my other birds, and I lost then do to cold. on that not I have a much better set up then I did when I was a kid.

I kid you not I am in such awe of you guys and your birds

Hi Ya Crazy,

Not really, the American games are all pretty much the same as far as keeping them goes. The roosters can't be kept together, they are all fairly noisy, and most will bite you every time you pick them up.... the good ones will hold on and bring blood

If you're just getting into games you might consider trying some bantams. They are easier to keep & most don't want to eat you.
