Show Off Your Games!

Just a suggestion, Take a look at the feed Purina has to offer. They have quite a few type's available, but I've been feeding their Gamebird chow. Great body weight, muscle density, color & plenty of eggs. I always was told corn was more or less a filler food. The GameBird Chow is about $14.00 a bag but they only need a small helping to maintain.

Not so good news,my roo and hen have been breeding like crazy, but then 2 days ago I noticed she was bloody. He ripped off all the skin from behind her comb to about 5 inches down. All that was there was muscle and a little of her skull was showing.I had to sew her up since the gash was so big.I only had regular sewing thread, and have been using vasaline but switched to neosporin.

On another note my dad was thinking about buying me a pair from johnny jumper,he asked if I could build a pen for them because he wanted to get them.

Yikes!

My boy just takes feathers, not skin.

That is crazy!!! Make sure his spurs are not sharp b/c he will stab the hen and it may cause an infection that will definitly take your hen down.

So I got some laying crumbles not pellets but crumbles.... I mixes it with the jose Guerrero feed and poured a little water in it hope this brings me more eggs.... Any body wet thier chickens food like this?
