Here's a picture of a good example.

I'd like to retract my statement that this bird is a good example of a Bennett Grey. It has been brought to my attention that the Bennett grey's typically come darker legged. I had just pulled this pic of the web and it was named Bennett grey. I didn't even notice how light the legs are.

My bennet grey has a sort of grayish color to her legs....

Also I would like to say that I had to cull one of My grey/ylh cocks today...Very sad and have been crying for most of the evening...I left the house around 12 this afternoon and returned at 4..Before I left, I placed him in a breeding pen with a hen...Seems some how he got out and of course went to the first rooster he saw which was not far from the pen....So sad cause I really loved him...Not just him but all My chickens...Im so depressed...I dont know how it happened or even how long it was going on....Some how the latch came loose..Him and the hen escaped but she farred way better then him....One of the risks with games...

Thanks Chief...Just had to vent My sadness a little and even tho they are chickens...Still hurts cause I am/was his keeper...Never had a problem with any pens before and I kinda think I was sabatoged....They just all have there own dispositions and he was very game( as most greys) but was very sweet with Me.

sorry to hear about this. It may seem silly to some people to be upset about a chicken but I was very upset when my old cochin rooster died the other week. I didn't cry but I felt like it. I felt like I let him down because I didn't notice he wasn't getting up on the roost pole at night. It was so cold I didn't go out after dark and check. If I had . I might have been able to save him.

I have a hen who sounds like she is going broody but will not stay in her nest she will sleep on the perch and cluck every once in a while this is the first time this has ever happened with her. Any advice? ( she has hatched for me twice already in the past )

She has laid about 22 eggs removed some and left 13 eggs.
Removed the stag from the brood pen as well.
She has been acting this way for about 4 days. I think she may have lost interest in the eggs at this point but it's still kinda early to tell.
