Hopefully Prariechiken doesn't mind, here is a Thai X American game. I would expect the Shamo would be basically the same except possibly larger and allowing some differences due to different breed characteristics of the Shamo and Thai.

I'll probably have a few Shamo X Americans to post myself later, as I let the Shamo stag free range most of the day with all of the hens when I'm around and the weather isn't bad. You could probably look at many of the old Jap strains and get a good example too of what to expect.

I had a few Games when I was a kid.I recently got the urge to get a few,so I went and picked up my trio today. So I guessI will give it a try again.

upthecreek pretty much said it. I couldn't tell you if they're good or not, as I believe a true game should be that - game. As I like to preserve them like they should have been instead of just to look nice. For the very same reason I would like to acquire some game Old English Game Bantams (though they pretty much are non-existent in the US...). But, looks wise I'll say I like them. The hen I would say is some kind of hatch, but the cock could be anything from a Kelso, Radio, or Yellow legged hatch. Some clarets even come similar.. Or he could be a kelso/hatch, sweater/kelso, or whatever odd cross someone has done..

I'm breeding gameness back into my BB Red OEGBs. The only way I can come up with to do it is to cross some American game blood into them, then breed back down to size. No idea how well it's going to work but F1s hatched last week.

Yeah, really that thought has been in my mind awhile. I've just been trying to acquire the right birds to do it with. I've found what I believe to be some pretty good choices, but am still trying to decide and looking around for more as well.
