well maybe if every cockfight/er on video wasnt caught using artificial means to make deadly artificial fight... as always raiding and showing the gaffs, knives etc.. and enclosed pits, and artificial stuff to make fight, but never showing those who have birds that just are game and just spar out in open how god made, and man bred. to many people cheating in my opinion. course by my standards they wouldnt maybe be considered organized? if a cock rolls or runs, tussle over and you just need to breed or raise better birds, as mine run off every rooster that tries to take them on, from neighbor's game farm, and i dont fight mine for record (they are actually only on loan for breeding), and they all have their natural spurs, and only those for show with normal combs, cut for show (well initially because combs had frostbite from lack of care, and just had waddles done to clean up).

anyone else here purists about a bird should be hardy on its own merits, and not need all this artificial stuff, or am i the only one on here???

as far as brutality, the worst cock fight, isnt as bad as the tamest rabbit or cat fight, and people keep them enclosed to tear each other appart, and no laws against. maybe rabbit or cat fighting will be next hoo ra. i know i was surprised by the horse fighting when moved down here...

Hi I picked up 6 game hens a couple of months ago. So I'm just getting in to this and would appriciate any opinions about these, do they seem to be pure or any obviously mixed or what. I'm looking for me a stag to start breeding them. what colors would these be considered.. I would like a BB red stag or weaten. I will take any advice lol thanks

The typical law grey is yellow/white legged. Mostly yellow legged- that is primarily what Mr. Law raised and other people had. There has been some debate of whether or not the blue/green legged ones popping up are due to crosses (highly likely) or perhaps from the small percentage of fowl he crossed with the Texas Ranger's, which resulted in blue/green legs if I remember correctly..

If they're good fowl and you like them, that is all that really matters.. You could basically call them anything you want within a year or two of breeding because you're selection would be different from Mr. Law's. But that is just my opinion.
