I compete at low level dressage (at the moment) but it has taken a long time to get him to where we are now and I’m genuinely proud of Huddie and my efforts. I ride somewhere between 4-5 times a week and he lives on my property but we don’t have an arena so it’s kinda hard riding on hilly surfaces and trying not to let him slip when it’s been raining.
Hudson is a welsh cob, 14.3hh and I really wish he was in ponies not horses when we’re competing officially against the warmbloods it knocks my confidence when we get bad marks and then place 5th out of 15 riders and even though I know it’s good because it’s relatively high it’s just hard to compete against people so much older than me, gosh I would have tied for first if he had been in ponies and instead I placed 6th.
Anyway, I shouldn’t complain because he’s beautiful and I love him lots it’s just frustrating sometimes.

He's so handsome! He looks really elegant in the second picture.

anyone here fell off a horse today? I did! I was riding a 14 hand pony over some cavalleti and he tripped faling on top of me. I somehow managed not to get any broken bones even though he fell right on top of my left leg. I am so grateful for that!:bow. He is a great learners pony but he kinda forgot most of the things because he is usually only on a lounge line. I did some jumping with him after that. It was kind of a good ride minus the fact that he fell over:lau

Goodness! I'm glad you're both okay!

Hi everybody! So I’ve been wanting to buy a new halter, ear net, and a jumping crop ( or whatever you call it). I thought about ordering from discount equestrian but Im not sure about the rating. What is your favourite equestrian shop? I am not willing to spend too much money on it. Like around 10€ on the ear net 15€ halter and around 10€ on the crop. Any ideas?

I try to find used tack from local people, but if nobody has what I want in good condition, I try online from State Line Tack, Valley Vet supply, or Dover (a bit expensive sometimes) but I'm in the USA and don't know if any of those companies ship to Slovakia for a reasonable price. Is there a Facebook or other classified-advertisement horse group in your local area? Otherwise, you might try Amazon - they often sell the same things various tack stores sell, with a better price for shipping.

Just showing off🤣

Is he/she yours? If so what’s their name?
I rent her. Her name is Swallow ♥️ I usually just jump with her but I love riding bareback/without stirrups on her. She's one of those horses you can trust (in a horsey way).
