Here's a few older pics of my guys from '09. I have to get out there this spring and take some good ones.
Sedona
Group Picture. Cheyenne is the black and white paint. She was a little over two in this picture. She'll be four this spring. Sonny is our very OLD palomina gelding. Stetson is our sorrel gelding from Mexico. Sedona and Cheyenne are being trained by my dad and we will start Cheyenne under saddle this spring. She's had a bit, saddle, and round pen work. Still a bit unpredictable at times, but my dad is working on it. She's come a long way though. Sedona just needs miles in the saddle. Stetson is our trail horse.
Horses with our dog Dalton. Usually he's bothering them. It was a surprise to see him laying down near them!
A bad picture of Cheyenne. She was in an awkward growth stage.
Stetson headshot.
I promise I'll take some updated ones when I'm home next time!
Unfortunately she doesn't have any papers, but we think she is a Quarter horse. She was a freebie from a friend of a friend who claimed she HATED women and was really nasty. We still don't believe them because she turned out to be the sweetest horse! She is still green, but very, very willing and extremely responsive. My dad is having some trouble getting her on a trailer though. He's been working with her for about a year and she'll get on, but still gives some resistance. It's slow going, but eventually we'll get there.
She is out of South Dakota though, and from what I've seen, they know how to build some horses out there!
OHMYGAWD did you get a nice horse. I thought she was a he, oops. She is built built built! So loose and ground covering. How old is she? Man, with the right stallion, like a foundation quarter, could you get some quality horses with her....
She is mouth watering...I'm drooling.
I betcha she could do jumping/dressage/western and trailriding with no problem.
