I love Tevye. It's pretty hilarious! Mostly he just runs out of arm's reach after grabbing a mouthful and then does the clacky thing, kinda like Tevye in a water stream:

All of my birds eat antyjing I eat because I toss the scraps right out the door to them.
Calls actually grow & feather very fast. As for the brown coming in, she's either blue fawn or tri-color. Post a pic on the call duck thread & ask mimihorse.
I'm guessing tri-color, since her other feathers are nothing but solid white and blue. I'm still surprised though, since her fuzz was definitively blue and yellow, no trace of beige or smoke! We'll just have to see, in a week or so she'll be a porcupine![]()
She will be the cutest porcupine ever!!! I love the look she shoots you in her adorable fuzzy belly pictures!!! How can you not cuddle that all the time!!!
Yay for Pale Girl and her recovery. Why is Missy mad at you and how come she doesn't come outside?Left Pale Girl in the care of the geese. She is able to sit with her leg folded under her today and made a short trip to drink with her buddies. Definitely looking better, but has a long way to go! Missy shot me the waterfowl stank eye from inside the house the whole time I was outside. She won't come within 2 feet of the back door when it is open with the screen in place, but will sit at the screen door on the front side of the house watching cars go by on the road... Little stinker...
But when she's grown, can't you still hold her?I don't, I have to take her out and nuzzle that fuzz-belleh at least twice an hour! Soon I won't be able to, so I gotta get while the gettin's good![]()
Of course! But her cute ili' tater belly won't be so soft and fuzzyBut when she's grown, can't you still hold her?

Everything she gets is cooked - mom gets meals on wheels, takes a few bites, then doesn't touch the rest, so it goes to the ducks. It's all cooked soft and senior citizen bland. I slice the meat into cubes, and they are good to go. Of course, the potato is one of her absolute favorites...
I would cringe with the chocolate too! That's off limits for her, along with any caffeinated drinks. She likes tea, but I only give her herbal for that reason, and have to put up with her pouting because I refuse to let her sample my coffee!
Any other veggies I should know about? As the season progresses I usually end up with tons of fresh greens for them from everyone's gardens that we mince and feed raw.
