The little ones very pasty butt. She seems to have more hair near the vent area blocking its path way. If you cut the hair it will hurt her or pull to hard. I use warm water and Vaseline to wash it away. I check them twice a day. For a while on chicks so I will do the same on ducks. She tinyer then her siblings.

Our sweet babies were hatched and shipped from Metzer a week ago. We got 1 male and 2 female mallards and 1 male and 2 female buffs.

You guys, I'm so, so sad to be giving my babies up. I wonder if Wobs knows something's up because he has been the sweetest, snuggliest lil' chubby birb on planet earth. I keep them both on the bed with me instead of in their crate at night to get in maximum time spent until I have to let them go, and Wobbles will immediately climb up onto my chest and start kissing m face all over. Now even Bean is sleeping on my tummy, and she's NEVER been outwardly affectionate!

Oh, my precious babies. I gotta work super hard to get a job and my own place so I can get them back from @Scovy Momma as soon as I possibly can! I just can't live without my babies ._.

It wouldn't surprise me if they can sense how you're feeling. I'm glad they're being sweet to you. I hope you're able to get settled quickly so you aren't away from Wobs & Bean too long. It's good that they'll be with someone that can take very good care of them.
