Show off your house ducks!

Yep, milk, cauliflower, cabbage, peas, soy, and several others. He can drink raw cow's milk but not pasteurized, can eat pudding, yogurt & cheese...but not milk from the store. My kid is wierd...lol

Wow. How about gluten? ( just wondering) I have heard that about raw cow milk. It is supposed to have a bunch of medicinal affects as well? IDK. I have always drank it?

He doesn't seem to have a problem with gluten, but 2 of my other children have the "chicken skin" on the backs of their arms that is a symptom of gluten allergy. But getting them to stop eating gluten? Prolly not gonna happen.

He's 20 now, so that was many years ago. He was always covered in hives from something when younger...new sheets did it once, grass on several occasions, unknown causes more than once...but he's NOT allergic to poison ivy or oak. I am, & half the kids are...so he used to go around pulling the vines out of our yard for me & filling our dumpster with them. Our trash man hated us...lol
Yay 20!! I love it.

That's a ton of allergies!!! My daughter (now 23) has a shellfish allergy to the point where she needs to carry an epi pen. She has always had problems with dairy and soy, so she drinks almond milk. I had a milk, wheat and nightshade allergy as a child but grew out of them, she was not as lucky. We are also allergic to cats (and have a ton), and I'm really allergic to horses (but have an equine science concentration in my animal science degree and rode competitively for a while).

Your son really lucked out by not having problems with poison ivy!!

3 of my 6 kids don't get poison ivy/oak & 3 are severely allergic just like me. 4 of the 6 couldn't drink milk as babies, 2 couldn't do soy either. The 2 that couldn't do either still can't drink pasteurized milk. I have food allergies, so does my mother. My kids get it honestly. 3 of them have at least 1 known food allergy...but none as severe as the oldest. I make him carry benadryll & his inhaler.
