Eeee, in love in love in love.
Poor little child bird. I wonder what is going on with her. I hope she snaps out of the periscope and side eye thing with food. As to the hum noise, what did she do to indicate it was bothering her?No, she'll eat, it just takes ten times as long because she has to periscope at it and give it the side-eye for a while before she decides that it's safe. This is a new thing, up until yesterday she didn't have this reaction. And last night I was up at 4:00 because she was flipping out at the hum of my air purifier. Which has been constantly running since she came home. And only now has she noticed it.
/facepalm
Aaaw, I'd love to hear them. They sound so sweet. And they prolly are laughing at the ducks' silly behavior. How many emus are you hatching?Quote:
Yeah they like to fly down to the pond and dip their bellies in the water.... Its really funny to watch. They are ringneck or laughing doves so they make sounds that sound like someone laughing so its hilarious to see them sit on a tree in the aviary and watch the ducks and it looks like they are laughing at the ducks and their silly behavior.

Hopefully three... If they all hatch.
Your property is beautiful. I am on my way to move into your aviary. Just throw me some food and water and I will be happy. Plus I can act silly around your birds and squeeze them.
