Anconas are a breed that typically has a voice difference between the genders right from hatch. Listen closely. A male will be a bit lower pitched with a hint of a rasp. A female will be higher pitched with a bit of a squeek.

Alright fantastic then my hunch was right. Cupcake just has this high pitch screeches if she doesn't see me, veryyyy talkative and super needy. Cookie doesnt make as much noise, is much quieter when he does and sounds more raspy. He's also a lot more independent which can also be personality things, but it's funny because even though they are from the same hatch, Cookie looks like a runt, but he's much more spunky and quicker than Cupcake.

I just cannot get enough of their cuteness and silliness!!!

I have not posted in a while but after seeing cookies and cupcakes I had to share these. Silas goes everywhere with mommy. He enjoys trips to the hardware store. Now at almost 3m old is finally quaking! He has a deep raspy quack my kids call it his full grown man quack!

Awwwwwwwhh how cute!! I love his little diaper! Ducks are hands down the best ever. They always stay cute, no matter how big they are.

@Duck4Christ adorable house duckie,.I love that diaper. I do.have a question, has your.duck ever.had problems like infections.or.anything from wearing a diaper?

No no problem I make sure I clean it some times 2 times a day! He takes baths and I let him play without it on too!

That is awesome I guess I'm gonna start figuring out how to make these then I.love my ducks in the house but hate the poop if I'm not constantly watching them I might end up stepping in a slippery mess :/

I would love to be able to buy them, less work for me! But right now our duck budget is slightly low but I will save the link and when we come into more of a healthy cash flow I'm definitely going to spring for them!

I felt the same, believe me cash is tight on my end too. I have only 2 different sizes right now. They can be cleaned so I only have one of each size. But Silas can't go outside we have an apartment. He really enjoys the patio and we take him to the park often/all the time. We also have little pool for him! He is like one of my kids!

That is so sweet, we have a little.kiddie.pool for our too! They love it ! We have a pretty big yard so during the day we spend a lot of time out with them but bring them in at night, it's hard to have them just stay in one spot we lay down a couple towels and let them hang out until bed time then they get zipped up.inside a nice cozy pop up.portable dog house the diapers would be cool I.am definitely going to see what I can do

I have kiddie pools too. And my duck budget is running real tight. I am horrible at making these diapers but, I gotta keep trying...lol...even though I am no where close to having a diaper harness that works. I live in an apartment and my township doesn't allow ducks at least I don't think so...which I didn't know but they don't get much time outside. I let them play in the basement all day with their pool and stuff. I wish I could bring them upstairs with me but I just can't afford to splurge on Duckie diapers right now and I really love them like part of the family! It sucks!
