Same if it's a chicken egg. Make sure the membrane is moist.

What size is your egg?Aren't serama way tiny and harder to hatch?

Yeah, it's way teeny & it's the first to make it out of 16 I've tried. The air cells have been all wonky but my incubator sets them standing on end so I think it's helped to stabilize the cells a little. I tried a foam one I borrowed but the temps were goofy on it so I set any I had that made it to day 17 in my tiny incubator & he was it.

Then again, I just took 3 days off work to keep an eye on my Serama egg hatching & the silly little shell head decided to pip late & stay in there forever

What is a Serama bird? Silly thing pipping late. The egg is pretty.

Itty bitty is right. I blew up the pic and can't tell if the foot is a web or a talon. Cute though. I just saw your post about a quail egg after I posted this. Then it is a TALON. A bird bird and not a duck bird. I love quail.

Here's a video of Wobbles getting head scratches, and loving every moment of it.

I had to watch it again. His sweet little angel face. He is clucking and then near the end he opens his bill. He is so sweet and soft looking. Hard to believe he can be stinkery at times. So innocent.

OH MY WORD. That is beyond amazing. A little Call Chicken, heehee. WOW. I have never seen anything like that in my life. He is the cutest little thing. I am excited. The bird kingdom is endless. They are like my finch birds in a chicken suit. That made me laugh. He almost doesn't look real. Can he fly?

I am happy you found a home for sweet little Dahlia. Way to go. And Dandy would love a road trip to go and kiss some Calls.
