Here's a pair of SDWs I hatched this year. Pullet is a blue SDW.

Very nice, jophus... how do you get the blue SDW?

I have not seen a blue Silver Duckwing pullet nor hen prior. There must be a 'ton' of colors out there! I checked her out close, seems to be a fine bird. Thanks for posting that, I am still trying to learn all of the variates in the OEGB umbrella.

Best to you and your birds,

RJ

She's about 7 months old and not as well colored as I would like, but should improve as she ages. She's extremely sweet and friendly though. Was really hoping for a blue SDW cockerel but didn't get one this year. May sell this pair as I have way too many varieties to seriously work with, but if no one wants them, guess I'll see how they produce in the spring.

Well I would like to share a pair I just got a couple of weeks ago. They are of course OEGB Silver Duckwings, going by the name of Samuel and Mary Jane. I hope to acquire a number of nice chicks from these two in the spring. They placed quite high in a local county fair exhibit, one of the better bird shows in the upper part of the state. I am tickled to have them on the place and adding their charm to our day.

Best to all and your birds,

RJ
