He'll broaden out, hackle will grow in better, he'll mature. But his type is good, and he's got good wing carriage. Those things, fortunately, don't change much.

I thought I liked the golden better, but also had 4 silver eggs. 3 turned out to be infertile, and the one that hatched ended up being a cross with a modern game cock. But he's a pretty guy. Now after looking at both more, I think I wish I had gone silver. :/

Golden males over silver females will give you silver pullets, and intermediate colored males, I believe. Sebrights are not my favorites, but people seem to love them. I have sold a lot of them. I was lucky to get such a good start from my Dad.

I've never been to Arkansas, maybe I can talk my wife into a mini vacation trip.
