Show off your Old English Game Bantams!!

If you get them as chicks they'll definitely squeeze through there. You'll have to put chicken wire around the bottom.
They'll probably stay with the silkies till they are old enough not to squeeze through. But I'll most likely wire the bottom anyway because I may use their broodiness to my advantage and have the hens hatch pheasant eggs( next year obviously because they'll be too young this season). I'm pretty excited to get them, I've heard many great things about the breed.

They're a great friendly breed! And you'll be surprised how young they'll get broody

That's what I've heard and that's great because I have little cousins who like playing with and holding my chickens but most of my current chickens don't want anything to do with little kids picking them up and stuff, so friendly OEGB would be excellent. Oh I'm sure they go broody younger than most but pheasants don't lay year round like chickens so there's only a limited time frame to get eggs from them and if I get the OEGB as chicks this spring they'll only be a few months old by the time pheasant laying season is peak.

Plus they fit in the palm of your hand, and oh yeah forgot about that.

I just got some Silver Seabrights Jophus I'll post pictures tomorrow

They are that small? I knew they are bantams and are small but I'm imagining a tiny serama sized bird in someones hand which is a little small for my liking.

Seramas are smaller, but I've hatched some that size.
