Show off your Old English Game Bantams!!

Is it true that Old English chickens are mean? Or !maybe just hard to have in a flock? The guy at the feed store told me that. I never bought any..

They are individuals. The girls are mostly among the most docile creatures on this earth. I have a cock or two that Hell must have spat out, but most are calm but protective of their hens. Seems to me some varieties or lines never produce aggressive males, while others produce more aggressive ones than not.

I don't ship, but I'll be happy to hatch whatever you want from my stock. I have blacks, whites, Creles, and Lemon Blacks. May be able to hatch a blue Brassy or 2, lol. No hatchery birds on my place, although some of my favorite OEGBs have come from hatcheries.

I live in Northwest Arkansas, and have sold to folks from Kansas before.

You know, I may have to hit you up next time I head to Joplin or even Pine Bluff to see my family in AR. I'd love to get a good crele or two to spoil rotten! Thank you!

Grandma has been there almost her whole life and my father was there until he passed. Such a wide open, quiet town. Her neighbor keeps ponies in one of those giant backyards they all seem blessed with down there. And the chickens, everywhere you look! :D

I grew up in a small town just south of there, Star City. You and I know a very different place. We call it "Crime Bluff".

Ouchhhh, but not the first I've heard that. Lol. My experiences have all been rather positive as a visitor, but I've heard it's definitely changed over the years. Though grandma likes to point certain fingers... at certain people...
