Show off your Old English Game Bantams!!

Pics
This is my red pyle cockerel, Romeo:

He originally had some girlfriends, but one died suddenly and the other just vanished from the pen one day. So on Saturday I picked him up a present:

Please excuse the messy background. It's what happens when naughty chicks escape the brooder into my workshop and then kick bedding and poop all over. Anyway. They're self blue pullets. They are GORGEOUS. They're in quarantine, so Romeo has yet to meet his Juliets. Pretty sure I HAVE to name one Juliet. Any name ideas for the other girl? Also, anyone know what color chicks I can expect?

In the play, Rosaline was Romeo's first love. I think that sounds lovely.

We have a grey tabby cat named Romeo and last year we adopted a female look-alike. I wanted to name her Juliet but my husband vetoed that idea as being just too cutesy for words. He instead named her Prozac.

I definitely like Juliet and Rosaline for your two little ladies - it's a lot better than naming one after an antidepressant drug.

did a game fair last weekend we moved over $1700.00 in birds.
this is the only pair i came home with.
we never have been bantam types here.
they were just so cute i could not pass
mini me chickens are cool. they are fast and the free range flock of large breeds are mean
to them, good thing they are fast. both are this years hatch still young for sure
but do the color and body form look ok

Thanks! Rosaline and Juliet it is :) Here's hoping Romeo takes a liking to them!

Oh, they are SO beautiful - how could he not? I have three OEGB hens and one rooster. My one red pyle hen I named Coco after Coco Chanel. She is very upright, slender and elegant in her carriage with very long legs and toes, but can be a bit of a scrapper if the larger birds get too uppity with her. Reminded me a lot of the lady herself. My birchen is named Esmeralda (dark and lovely) and my little cochin who looks a lot like a lemon blue is named Fleur. Spike our little rooster is a Porcelain.

Wow! love these little bugs! So cute. I really would like to have some for my garden. Wold be a great contrast to my big fluffy black Orps. Do you all know anyone who breeds wheatons?

Here is my sweet Bonnie (22 weeks), she is so tiny and small, but she shows the most love! She even "growls" and sounds like the baby Raptors from Jurassic Park!! Haha so funny

Ya'all are lucky. Down here, in the Deep South, Banties are so common that I can't sell show quality OEGB's or Sebrights for more than $10-20 a breeding pair! That's why I wind up with so many, I guess. I figure that I'll keep 'em before I give them to someone who's simply gonna toss them out in the yard!

I am in Indiana and the ones at the fair were going for 15-30 each and that was not for show quality I am thinking. Are you NPIP, will you ship eggs?
