The shock of moving and being somewhere unfamiliar to them with make them stop laying for awhile also. Put a nice box in there, let them get used to their surroundings, and soon they should be laying again. So, for now, they're in their own little area with their own smaller coop (renovated rabbit pen) and I've got to figure out what to do for a nest. The guy told me that one of the hens was laying, but I've yet to see an egg yesterday or today. I think it's a lack of a place to lay. Going to try to rectify that today!
Beautiful birdsHere's some photos of our self blue (although they look more lavender to me) OEGB that I took this morning when they came out of the coop.Mr. Fantastic:

They really are beautiful birds! Planning to build/install the nesting box this afternoon when my toddler goes down for his nap. Hopefully, they'll get acclimated soon and start laying some eggs! He HAS been giving the girls a workout the past couple of days. LOL
Your birds sound beautiful!!!!Beautiful birdsI have some black Roos and two black hens, they are awesome birds. Want to add some spangles, blues and duckwings. The only sq I have are my blacks but have some very nice creles a brown breasted red roo and the chick who is a quail color but has the gold ring around her neck. Will try and post pictures tomorrow.
