Show off your Old English Game Bantams!!

Camdenton Missouri

You're only 3.5 hours from me. I'll have eggs a little later in the season, but I've never shipped them. I also know a guy in Joplin that raises lemon blue and blue red OEGB. Lots of good breeders right around in your area. I would run an ad on CL and see what I could find. If you are ever down this way (Northwest Arkansas) I would give you some eggs. I have several varieties.

I have a question. I hatched a cockerel who I hoped was going to be cuckoo, but he turned out to be a sort of cuckoo, with yellowish tints to his hackles and saddle feathers. The thing is, he (in my opinion) has fantastic type! His tail is magnificent, and his stance is upright. My question is, would it be a bad idea to enter him in our county show so I can get an idea of what a judge thinks of him? Or should I just not? I can post a few pictures if needed.

I vote for pics. Would love to see him.

Quote: I don't know, but I did happen to get a pullet with lemon blueish coloring in the same batch. Thank you.
