Poults are 2 weeks old today. They really grow fast, and are already more than willing to take flight. Love to watch them hunt whatever insect makes the misfortune of going in their enclosure. They are deadly to flies, lol.

His mom and dad are actually both duckwing one silver and one gold (i don't remember which is mom or dad) they both are very duckwing looking. Like, show quality. Not really sure how he happened...

Neat looking. What's your plan? Silver is dominant, right? I think I'd find him a pretty silver duckwing girl. :)

One or both of them were carrying something, maybe quail. He's marked a lot like a quail, and with the silver, it gives him that Colombian look. He's very interesting.

I was thinking maybe there was another breed somewhere way back in the line. He was one of two (who I later went back and got) that were colored like that in the bunch.... Now I have two roos colored like that :) I loved the fact that they are so different from their hatch-mates. I will post pics of both later. I hope to get some babies off of them (for personal preference of my little flock) and don't care about pedigree, as far as my personal flock. To get more like this what can I cross?? Or do you think I need to stick with the duckwing and hope for his colors?? I still have a good while before I do this, he just started crowing. So I was maybe hoping for opinions....

Oooh, maybe he has some Serama mixed in somewhere along the way, if he's really tiny? A few of my seramas, 5-weeks old
Wow they do have some similar traits. Do you have any older one?? I'd like to see a more mature one. And omg he is so tiny!! The other is too. They were the tiniest out of the hatch. And the only two with markings like this
