Show off your Old English Game Bantams!!

400

This guy has a date with the dubbing shears and if he molts out ok, I'm going to show him in the fall.

He's handsome ! I had a pair of whites years ago and the old hen was and is still my favorite all time bird. My son and I went to a Repticon show today and a guy had SDWs for sale. Made me think of you.

I thought about it but I'm out of space as it is.
:/
I did find a few snakes I wanted to take home.

I kept and bred snakes for years. It's a lot longer process than with birds and you only get one shot, with some, in a year to get it right. My last python died at around 24 years of age and I never got any more.

My son's favorites are the boas but I want to try to hatch some pythons for him.

I kept balls and carpets. They have to be temp and light cycled to produce fertile eggs. Hatching is easy, it just takes a long time. You think getting chicks from a broody hen is tough, wait till you pull a clutch of eggs from a 10 ft carpet python, lol.

Haha! I'll let my son collect the eggs. I saw a couple of big Carpets at the show.

If I can be of assistance, let me know. I've worked with a lot of different species, from cobras to huge retics and everything in between. Also frogs, spiders, scorpions, bettas, and a couple of monitor species. Lol. My wife was happy when I went back to birds.

COBRAS !!! They are beautiful but venomous is where I have to draw the line, lol!
