Show off your Old English Game Bantams!!

Haha! I feel your pain. I'm full up too, but dying to test some of my new Serama eggs!

I was tempted to set some Creles from this new group I have, but quickly regained my senses.

I have some beautiful black and white pullets that'll be ready next spring. Black Copper Marans, Welsummers, and Swedish Flower Hen pullets are all laying as well. With the turkeys coming of age too, I'm going to need a lot more space next year.

Certainly not OEGB, but for those who've been following this thread a while, the Sweetgrass poults are 4 months old.

Wow! They are really pretty!! Have you determined how many males/females you have? If I ever decide to do turkeys again, I'll have to look into Sweetgrass

I have 3 males/2 females and 1 I'm undecided about. They're not tame, but not wild. Very easy to get in and out there of the pen. They are very beautiful birds, and whenever I put one up for sale (I've sold 2 males) they are quickly grabbed up. Probably will keep a trio, with a backup gobbler.

They've been a pain to raise, but they're turning out really nice.

I took a few pics today. The one of Darryl and his SDW harem isn't great because of the shadows, but it was so cool the way he was standing and the girls were all laying at his feet.

The 2 self-blues are about 10 weeks now. They are so sweet.

I've raised some self-blues before. They're very pretty birds.

The lone girl that I hatched last year wasn't as tame as some others I've seen, but she was a sweetie. But she did not like to go in the coop at night. She would roost on top of the gate, I'd grab her down every night, put her inside the pen, then she would walk into the coop on her own. Just had to beware of the wicked wing, if I didn't get a good hold of her. She whacked me up side my cheek one night. It hurt! Lol

These are my first to raise but I learned quickly they are very powerful, and have scars to prove it. When they scratch it leaves a mark. They'll beat you to death if you don't get a good hold on them.
