He's very pretty. I don't really care what breeds my chickens are either.the person had no idea what it was// actually was calling it a batman rooster rofl // hes a rosecomb/ close enough though and free lol, all that matters to me. I'm actually getting two of them
x2 Looks like a blue rosecomb bantam.. Maybe a mix since i dont see that bright white ear lobe on him. Very gorgeous boy anyways!Looks like a nice.little blue.
It very well might. She maybe give up half way through the incubation or decide she doesnt want to deal with the chicks once hatched. So for now i'd leave her be and see what happens And NEVER try to move her and her nest of eggs somewhere else. Once a broody decides where she wants her nest she stays there. If you try moving her she will most likely stay off the nest and try to get back to her old one. And moving her may even snap her out of her broodiness. So if i were you, I'd have a incubator or a brooder box set up just in case.Found Dove's, my little silver duckwing girl .that was missing, nest. Shes wedged in to a tight crack so I can't get a look at eggs. Is the fact that she isn't even 7 months old and a new layer going to affect the hatch/babies?
