Thanks, some had dark eye stripes when they were born. Some of the combs came in later than others. Their tails look different too, some have a U shape with longer feathers at the end, while a few have a V shape like the definitive hen's tail.
I am in denial I think. I have searched and searched for photos of 1 month old old english bb bantams, can't find any. I think they are reds. But the females do have combs, right? How do I know fir certain if they are males or females? Is there a definite way to tell?
We can only keep 3, and some people on here say it is okay to keep several roosters. I dunno about that.

If you can just post a group shot and we will try to help. If you raise males together they will usually live together without problems.
