I bet one of the other peas was jealous and knocked him down, then shoved his feet into the dirt so he could not give chase!

Out ranging with the other poultry. What you can't see are the attack guineas. Even the peacocks run at the sight of those crazies.
I also have a lawn ornament peacock. 2nd picture far right top corner. I laughed at your zaz.
