Sweet Pics Kathy! Oops Edited to say I get it now Also love the blue hydrangeas in the background. Reminds me of when I was a little kid at my grandmas. We were in the country and she let us pee on them from off the porch so they would be real blue. LOL!

Okay, I can't hatch pea eggs in my bator but my Silkies had no trouble doing the fine job for me.



Yes, that is an Ameraucana foot in the photo. I think the excitement of hatching eggs after a month of setting was too much as 3 Silkie hens and the 9 month old Amera girl, hatched and raised by them, squashed one of the pea babies and I now only have the one.



So live and learn!
Now the Silkies have 3 silver pied eggs from Zazous pen back under them since they are still on the nest (reason why I have them, after all) and I have a blue Langshan hen in the grow up pen sitting on another silver pied from Velocity pen egg and 2 Bronze from Hershey pen.

The "loud" pied and silver pied chicks are always pretty and attract a lot of attention. For some reason they just dont do it for me like the full color versions as adults though.
