I will try that for my peas this year. Most of my breeder birds do not care for it unless I mix it in their grain and then not too often as I usually have stands 10x10 sq. all over the farm where the tractors sat and then as we move them along it leaves patches of grain that grow. I often pick the sorghum and feed it back to them but they don;t eat it much. I will take some to the peas since they like it mixed in their grain.
I pulled up the plant and put it in the pens but maybe it was already too dry. I will go pull some now and give it to my other birds to see if they like it. With all the rain the tractors aren't being moved as often.
Amen.Zaz. But Ohhhh! Look at that sweet garden of yours.Thats the good part.I had the same thing happen to my pomegranites this year.(Blown off flowers) Also Is that seed plant millet?
Yea but I had to pull up my tomato's cause of all the rain and if it keeps up the Mellon's will split before I can get them put up for the peas, they wouldn't go to waist but I would rather have them some in the winter, hopefully the pumpkins will make before winter, I got a late start on them.
This is [was] Argus, my Indian Peacock. He was the coolest thing ever and he recently passed away. I have a couple of peafowl eggs in the incubator now, ready for hatch in 9 days so while I'm excited for new birds, I still miss my original sweetheart.
