Show off your Peas!

Hello everyone.. I'm a newbie to the peafowl world and wanted to show off my peas. I have some black shoulder males and a few pieds and just got in a new spalding pair from MO and am so excited for next year.










I love just watching them move and explore. They are so curious and gentle. ... and BEAUTIFUL!

I am as addicted to these as I am the Cochins. MOF, I think I have sold out of about everything except these breeds!

Hello all you pea fans, I had peas many a year ago, and now have an opportunity to do so again.. The deal comes with a hitch in that it will be 5 of them. 4 males and a hen..

Question is if we do not keep them all, what type of price do the boys usually bring?

It depends on what variety the boys are. If they are India blue peacocks they will be around $100 dollars.

Peanut is growing up, but is still loves his lap time. This could be a problem when he's grown!




Mork is getting big, too, but not as friendly as Peanut.

Good. Hopefully Mork is a boy. I don't suppose there's any way to tell with him/her, is there? I know that's not a very good picture.

If I could see it in person I could tell you , photos are very had to tell until they are much older. but look at it this way you can find a male pretty easly hens are a bit harder at least in my area.
