Lovely peas.
when i saw your arm in the photo i was like that looks just like my arm for real, i always have a band on my wrist because my hair is real long and when i take my hat off i have to pull it back.

MMMaddie you come in second for taking the neatest pea pictures. I promised Zaz pics of my new fellow. Got to get it done. Mine always makes my babies looked distressed.

Well what was a girl to do he already started making a mess back there to.
So many woman have couch potato husbands. This fellow needs tied to the couch. Yet, it sounds like to me he's so bull-headed he'd just drag it along with him. Does he ever rest??? Your beautiful pictures are due to the beautiful place you have created and that takes a lot of hard work and time. I do wish your man would slow down a bit till he gets through his operation, though.

Going to try and get some pictures today. Here's my newer babies. Percy and Pepsi. Perky spies the straw on the pumpkin. Ready for attach.

Yes they are BS split to Midnight BS. My favorite color is the midnight BS then the BS, then the whites. Getting the little chicken shed cleaned out I'm going to just buy a dog kennel for them to get outside a bit and give them more room. The little shed is on cement slab so they won't be on the ground. That should be ok for them shouldn't it to be able to go outside as long as they aren't on dirt. I think these little ones will need coats for the winter months, they just came so late. I will keep them inside until they out grow the tote. I was going to put them in the old trailer for the winter. Lots of room, but heating it for 6 babies seems ridiculous. The older trailer we moved with the tractor and it just couldn't take it so the plan is to tear down next summer and build a better house for the growing peas if I ever learn to hatch them. I have been working on the Pea Pod trailer so my big peas have more room. I will get pictures soon I promise, pretty excited. I am going to make the closets into brooder and warming cages for new babies I hopefully hatch next year. Hope big peas like me working in their house this winter or spring. I think being insulated, heat tape on perches and maybe a milk house heater for each room when temps get real low, the big ones will be warm enough for the colder months. When growing up Mom never had heat for the chicken house and it wasn't insulated. It just seems like it went from 100% to almost winter here. Alicia and Matti have been so much help this last week. We've just been having way to much fun.
