Can you find the hen in this photo?

Wished all nest w=ere this easy to find

Mrs Dirty was not happy when i took her goose eggs this morning.

I can't figure out where the eggs are in the first picture... Are they next to the dark logs in the center? The second photo I am guessing she is in the area near that tree in the center. The third photo I don't see the peahen!!! Haha just kidding I see her. That is an easy bird to find. So she is on goose eggs? Mrs. Dirty really does look scruffy. She reminds me of my whites when they were younger. Why are the whites always the messy birds?

I saw another mating a few days ago...Alto and Snow White.

Everyone be careful around your peacocks right now... I can think of at least 3 reasons why Peep jumped on me yesterday. I am not hatching at all this year and Damsel has been insisting on laying on one egg now so for the past two days I have had to take away her one new egg that she sits on. I feel bad doing it but with that coon coming in the pen she isn't safe on the ground. So yesterday I took the egg from her and she took of running to the other birds. I came from around some of the big plants in the pen ducking under a horizontal pole the birds perch on and was quickly greeted by Peep who pecked my foot then scratched or spurred me...Not sure which but ouch!! It isn't a deep cut but there are a few things that I think could have made him do this.
1. I took Damsel's egg and when I did I noticed she ran off to the other peafowl and they all started talking to each other making noises I have only heard maybe twice before, so I think she was upset and telling them about it so maybe Peep scratched me for taking the egg.
2. I might have startled Peep coming around the bushes like I did since he was already on edge.
3. Peep was on edge because he was fighting Frosty, the white peacock and I just happened to walk into the area they were fighting and didn't realize. I think this is actually why he got me because he was in fight mode.

Peep and Frosty circling each other.

While Frosty didn't put up a fight with that two year old peacock I recently sold, he sure was a great fighter when he was fighting Peep. He had some good moves! When Frosty jumped on Peep, Peep would come running to me for protection but I watched him carefully because I didn't want to get scratched again! I think Peep didn't mean to but like I said I am going to have a very watchful eye on him now. Anyways, Peep and Frosty kept circling and sometimes jumping and kicking (it wasn't a very violent fight it was mostly circling). I walked over to Alto, the dominant peacock, who was standing on the metal pole. I talked to him telling him that since he is the dominant peacock he had better break up the fight. A minute later Alto jumped down, broke up the fight, chased Peep into the dog box, then started calling. Frosty replied to Alto's call, and after hearing Frosty call Alto took off running after Frosty. Peep was calling from inside the dog box so before I left I helped him back out of the box. Those silly peacocks the trail camera was showing Peep and Frosty displaying right next to each other but I guess their partnership is not going so well now.

Also, I wanted to edit this to add something off topic, but I have always been astounded by Birds of Paradise and here is a cool video I found on youtube of some of them and their displays. It makes me think that while the peacock has a beautiful display, it isn't the only bird with crazy plumage and a neat display:

Also the LabofOrnithology, the channel this video is from, is a great channel to check out and subscribe to. I enjoy watching their bird videos from time to time.

Ya know i noticed something this year about the white hens, every morning the peas go for their walk come up and roost in the sun and get the morning dew off them but now that they have started laying the white ones go dust bath while they are still wet from the dew, they only do this when they are laying no other time, that is why they look so dirty

Ya know my goose Romeo that i got as a gosling back in 2009 grabbed my britches this morning first time ever he is my baby boy and i am his pet he decided that not me anyhow i grab him instantly and i think we were both surprised, i think he did not recognize my clothing, i had on an over sized long sleeve shirt,

I see an egg right above the end of the cut log, pretty much dead center of the pic

Can you find the hen in this photo?
And I see her brown back and her pretty face about 2 feet below the base of the big tree, and a little to the right. Again, pretty much dead center of the pic.
C'mon Zaz, make em tougher, lol

OMG I love peafowl and I hope to get some in the next 5 to ten years .

But first I have to be able to afford a place big enough from my large population of water fowl ( so somewhere with a large pond ) and an area clear enough to where I can sea all the peafowl at one time

It really shouldn't be that hard since I live in Mississippi but does anyone recommend pinioning the pea fowl chicks ?
