Show off your Peas!

Thanks Kathy. The six week old purple is a real brat. She (?) paces and calls for me all day, and when I open the door she is on me like, a, a, well she really likes to sit on my arms, shoulders, head. She thinks she is a parrot, she likes to go outside and stays on my shoulder for a walk-a-bout. She has really been a help on getting the younger ones, three and two week olds, eating and being friendly. They are starting to hop out into my lap and crawl around on me like Sweepea does. Yeah, I can just see it, twenty pounds of bird hoping up on my shoulder when I least expect it.

She sounds like a sweet bird, guess that's why you named her Sweetpea.

Would love to see more pictures of them when you get a chance!

Oh she is, if I set still she will nuzzle down into my beard then stick her head out or take a nap. We are trying to get better at the picture thing, we take the pics with DWs I-pad, she e-mails them to me, I download the pics then upload them in a post. My bottleneck is when I download them, sometimes it gets hard to find where they went on the computer.

Personally, I like his drawing...it expresses his own view of peas.
It's not likely that any tattoo artist has spent as much time around peas as Birdrain has!
Thank you. True, but you guys have spent more time with your peas I'm sure. I'm not the best artist either. I do see some flaws in my drawing but they aren't big ones.

If you take the time and do your research you can find artists that can give you a picture perfect tat of your bird. There are artists that can do picture quality, I know two of them personally.

When choosing both subject matter and artist one should do due diligence, after all it will be with you for the rest of your life.

One of Miss Dirty's Hatchlings that came on the 4th of July there were 4 all togeather, 2 whites a pied and IB split white, i left 2 with her and put 2 in the brooder, so far the ones that are ranging are doing good, she takes them to the new pen at night and i close her up.
