Show off your Peas!

Great pic, and what a cute little guy. You say he came from your BS pen? Looks like there was a pie in the woodpile! LOL

Indeed! Both of my cocks I used in breeding this year had all kinds of genes expressed through their chicks. That BS cock also has Cameo in him. I did not have a pied hen in with him and none of the IB hens showed any split to them. Maybe it was coming from the Cameo hens.

And you'd think there wouldn't be coyotes in town!! At least in the country you can use a gun to scare them off!

I scared one off a couple of weeks ago after he relieved my Royal Palm hen of her tail feathers and ate all her eggs. Scared him real good with a .223, found him when the buzzards were picking his bones clean.

There are more yotes in some towns that out in the country in many places, food supply is eaiser to access as you can see on the video, they ain't scared :/
the problem with urbanized coyotes is they have a lot of dog in them from interbreeding and that takes away their natural warriness of humans. Coyotes will go where the food is easiest to find, they're lazy, good for nothing's. The only thing coyotes are good for is target practice.

I am not urban but my Aussie dog is a yote lover sense she was young and she plays with them at night, seen her more than once, anyhow i ended up with a litter of coyote dogs DNA approved, i kept one of them , the rest were put down for fear they would end up in the wrong hands,
He is a sneaky dog but he has made a wonderful farm dog , him and his momma are the only once that can catch a fox.
This dog will not let any person touch him except me.

No problem with him/her killing any of your animals? He's pretty cute!!

Well when he was younger he acted all fine with them, then one day i was in the brooder and he did not see me i guess cause he snached up a duckling while he was trotting by it, never missed a lick, i hollerd at him and fussed him into shame and never again did he ever touch another bird, instead he watches out for them and responds to their warning calls.

He is supper smart and I can't just put him in a kenel and walk away, he will be standing by my side before i make my next stop, i have a cover on my kennel and there is a 4 inch gape between the canapy cover and the pen wall and he climbed the chain ling fence that was covered in chicken wire and squezzed right threw that gap.

Sweet dog Zaz, I bet he is super smart and I've always thought a yote pup would be fun to have. I still think when it comes to wild dogs, they're best used for target practice. They're an invasive nuisance in IL.
