my first IB used to ride in my Jeep with me back home im Utah. I would open the hatch and in he would go. Talk about something you dont see every day! It was funny watching peoples kiddos freak out when they seen him looking out the back window!

I made this paper mache peacock and desided to put it out in my coop to see how my peas would react and it was so funny watching my IB circle it and peck at its face. So curiouse. My IB hen was thinkin their was a new man in the coop lol!

he was so beautiful! I miss him so much. The wind had some how blew thw coop door open and he flew over the interstate in rush hour traffic. I drove up and down the interstate for days after and never did find him or any sign that he had been hit thank god so where evwr he ended up he must have been happier

Funny how you still miss them even though I have four more, hard to part with them sometimes.

I can't imagine having one of my peafowl die. Also the peacock I had 3 years ago that flew the coop (Genie), he is my neighbor's horse pasture spending time with the horses. The guy called my dad telling him a peacock with a long tail has been in my pasture. I'm happy hearing Genie is still alive but I'm surprised he never heard Colbolt, Sage, Thora, or Marshmallow ever call and come right over.

Why nothing

Why is it your peafowl are getting their trains so early? Is it a genetic that's going around your flock? If so I would breeding it into my entire flock?

I don't know most all of them do but that don't mean they will breed i have 3 with a full train that turned 3 after they molted in Aug and all they did was fight with each other and didn't look at the hens.
