Haha well if the white will be 1 soon I would think if it were a male you would definitely be seeing some spur bumps by now so can you get a photo of those legs? When I was given 3 white peachicks I wanted one to be a white peacock so badly and would watch them and for a long time I thought I had two peacocks and a peahen but when they got older it got very obvious that one was bigger, had a longer tail, and had spurs. It does look too small to be a peacock, but whites do get very confusing...

My Wylie is the tallest of all of my birds, even the 6 year old, Owen. He's got longer feathers where his train will be in a couple years, and he certainly acts very "boy-ish," so I'm sticking with boy for him. :) I do love that little butthead.

Here's a throwback, his baby picture, just for fun..

2 and 3 days old, i am trying to take their photo every day. They like ol Elia This is an awesome goose, he took over as a parent to 3 goslings i have and now that they are big he has dcided that the wee peas must need looking after also.. as soon as they see me and start fussing pappa goose come to the pen to console them.
PRECIOUS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :love

Kuntrygirl, what does your gut tell you?

My gut? Well...... huh.......well.......... my gut is saying that I have been deceiving myself for almost a year and I have been having denial issues and I need some pea help because I wanted a white peacock and I have been dressing this little "girl" up in baseball caps, sneakers and jerseys and telling everyone that it's a HE !!!!!!! And in actuality, I should have been dressing HER up in pretty, pink frilly dresses, with lace socks and pink patin leather shoes and a cute pink Easter hat. :hit

WHY ME !!!!!!!!!!!!! My child will need psychological help because I have been treating it like a male. :hit WE NEED THERAPY !!!!!!!!!! :hit :lau

Awwwwwwwwwwwww, look how cute!!!!!!!!

At 1 year old, how long would the tail if it were a male? The tail is really not long and it kinda does look like a hen.

Okay, so I just went and looked at my June 2012 peas and the boy is huge and also has pretty big-ish spurs. Green-P is smaller and she has itty bitty spurs. I also looked at their tails and tried to picture them as all white and I think I'd be able to tell the difference. On the boy, the top layer of feathers are shaped differently and are as long as the bottom ones, but Green's top layer are much shorter than the ones on the bottom. Sorry, wish I could explain it better.
