Is that a turkey with all that black in it's wings? I want turkeys but DH said he hates them, don't know why but this is the one time he ever said he don't like a kind of animal so i will be a good wifey and not get them, funny my geese taught him the goose dance and you would think once more were hatching he would say something about not liking them but he never has and they would try to run him off when he would walk threw the yard, i kept telling him not to stop just keep going when they put their heads down and run towards him, he finely learned and now they leave him alone after 4 years

I know what you mean about selling i kept a bunch a females in hope of selling breeding trios, i have a couple males i need to move and everyone that contacted me wanted hens, of course in 2 years everyone will want males i got that covered also

I know what ya mean about wee peas, i read an add the other day that that peas were as easy as chickens to keep and if ya had a chicken coop you were all set for peas already or something like that

PS i write books sometimes also

They would be to heavy for ZAZ to process i am afriad, i have a terrible problem with my shoulders, need surgery but don't trust doctors no more after what they tried to put me threw when i had cancer.
Heck i need all kinds of surgeries to fix all these other joint and disk problems.
That is what bad gens will do for ya, i would never make a good specimen for human surival if it ever came to that, my insides are great but my framework sucks

Daddy Blue- and the peeps. Ended up with 2 pieds and 2 Blues. Hawks got 2. We debated on here earlier this spring as to the sex of them. Since they have since gone to their forever homes- but close by- I will later be able to confirm if our guesses were correct on the sexing. I'll be sure to post original chick pics beside the resulting adult pics. Should be really interesting with the pieds. Always a learning opportunity!

Yes, the one in the very middle and the other poult is next to the wall with the brown peas.
I have a Royal Palm tom and he has a Royal Palm hen and had a Tiger Bronze hen that I was hatching from. The Tiger Bronze hen has since disappeared so I suspect Coyote. A fox could not have taken off or gotten that big hen through the fence and I know they could not have jumped with her so I figure Coyote. My dogs are so useless sometimes!

I am with you, Zaz! I seldom trust Drs. I am old enough that I have seen what my parents and siblings have had to go through and I have to be on deaths door before I will go (ie: kidney stones). Besides, have you heard all the side effects from the meds they want to give you??? I have turned to holistic meds and preventative care.
Uh, know about that shoulder pain. I love to sleep on my side but my shoulders scream me awake! Ain't getting old great?

I feel for ya! We will just age gracefully together.
