One of my BS Males isa bit over a year and he still has a lot of colors on him, He is changing but much slower then I would have thought.

My India Blue Blackshoulder peacock was not completely colored at three years of age. The thing that takes longest is for them to get a solid wing. Here are pictures of how he looked:







He just had some feathers with some cream on them, and that would have been gone with his next molt probably.

In the south they laying from September till December. but this female first clutch was early September and after 2 weeks I take the chicks away in October but the male was not finished courtshipping and the end of December begin January she started a new clutch, a very first for me. peacocks with 2 clutches a season
