Show off your Peas!

Aww sorry about the babies, ma be we can help you figure out what went wrong, it has happened to most all of us one time or another.

Start a new thread about what happened to your wee peas if you need help, this place is great and has helped many people and their peas, some lives are lost but many more can and will be saved from what we learn together.

Greetings from Mexico! , I'm new here to BYC, I'm excited to see other peafowl owners who share their pictures and knowledge. Glad to have found this site. These are some of my Peafowl. My white peacock. I'll take some pictures of my peahen today, and also some of my peachicks. I would post some of my IB peacock but he's been missing for around 2 weeks.

What a handsome boy!!

I found my white hen's nest with 5 eggs and one of my IB hens with another 5 eggs. Haven't found my other IB hen and her nest but she may have another 5 eggs. They are very fertile but my peachicks don't make it to one year of age.

Sorry for your losses. May I suggest that you research blackhead (histomoniasis)? It's very easy to treat when treatment is started soon enough, but let it go too long and one can expect to lose their bird every time.

Great pictures! You would think that fighting like that would break their train, but your peafowl show otherwise. Nice white eyed peacock!

Your lucky everyone was in show-off mode last night. I was suprised that Roadtrips train (the BSSP Male in the far north pen) now touches the sight barrier on each side of the 10' wide pen. Your BSSP hen you took is out of the bssp hen that you have the close up of above. She is a very special and sweet hen.
