~~Meet "Checker",,our india Blue Black Shoulder w/e male. Last year I noticed some small white coming in his train eyes but the other nite I caught him opened up and what a change!! This was the only pic I could get and the sun was behind him,,may get another chance later on because if we build pens this weekend he will be with 3 IB hens with white flights

The kids have named them Mr & Mrs P. Mrs is but a year and Mr is 2. Thanks for the compliment! He has a ways to go to be as flashy as most I see here but he does have a handful of eyes at the moment. He's working on it. I have lined up getting a few more later in the year. I'm wanting to add a Pied and White. Not sure yet if I'm getting a trio or just hens...haven't quite made up my mind! I'm afraid Mrs P won't keep him interested enough by herself to keep him happy in the long run!! Thoughts?
