Our boys train is growing in nicely. This pic is from 11/5. He is just coming in at 3 yrs old this spring/summer.
Now a pic of today's train. It's a gloomy day here today but I take the pics as I can get them!

O did not sell him on purpose, the folks that got him had a kinda small cage for a bigger train so i snatched up one with a smaller train and i realized after they left that Patch was missing so i had them send me a photo and it was him, they offered to bring him back in a month or two but i refused that offer for various reason , they traveled a pretty good distance to get these birds. For those that did not know him Patch was the first egg i got here and It had a hole in it and i patched it with toilet paper and wood glue then i had to help him out cause he could not get out cause the patch was to hard, that is how he got his name ;) I miss him terrible but it will pass in time and i will be left with his memory :hit at least now i know i will not run over him now, silly boy. I hope the new owner will join the forum and keep us updated as to how him and his 3 girls are doing, i try to tell everyone that purchases a pea about this site but nobody seems to come but this time i gave out a BYC card so mabe some of these folks will start joining us on the forum, i know some folks just like to read and not participate.
I can understand the reasoning for not having them return him. .but Oh my. I wouldn't have been able to not...I would have told them. ."Stop where you are I'm coming for him!" I know you have many but it just seems to have one so special ..no way I could part! Hope they join so we can all see him again. Beautiful sweet boy!

Yea i know i just e-mailed them and told them how much you all and I are gonna miss his antics, mabe they will have time to share some of his crazyness once he gets settled, they have no clue what they have on their hands but it is their first peafowl so they might think it is normal

Aww well that makes more sense. How sad. :( I guess this is a good lesson to everyone to make sure you are selling a bird you are fine about parting with. If that were Peep, I would probably even pay the people to bring him back or something maybe buy a nice pied and swap the pied for Peep. I would even swap a green peafowl for Peep if I had to.
