Show off your Peas!

Margaret, is that wire mesh on top mounted on a removable frame?  How does it come on and off?

I used screws on top of boards and RR ties. I stretched the inch sq fencing on the screws then I Put in the rye seed. I tilled the dirt before I put on the fencing. In the spring I will plant Bermuda seed. That way they will have grass year around. This way they can't destroy it like they did in the rest of the pen! It does not come off. I made it to be permanent. I put it under their daytime roost. They will keep it fertilized. Lol

Just for you @Garden Peas ...

Okay, that makes sense... I was just wondering if you had rigged it up so you could get in and scratch up the dirt when you reseed... I've been trying to figure out how best to build something similar, thought I might have some other plants in there in summer. They just adore their bean plants and the chard... (and of course, any plants they can reach).

I planted blackberries on the outside of the fence on one side. The is 4 ft of chicken wire on the inside any berries that come through the fence are fair game!

You guys will nvr believe this but in a 5 mile radius there are 2 other people with peas one with a lot including whites and blues and other one has blues but the one with only blues has a zebra as a pet so they say its a zoo lol but now I can talk to them and maybe get a gene pool going
That's fantastic.

Fenced a perimeter around 55 acres.
Can you come to my house? I only need 20 acres fenced.

It was MinxFox's idea, but I think I made it a little bigger!
I tried that last summer and planted kale in it, its a great idea.
