Show off your Peas!

hey guys does any of by chance know the breed of this pea hen and maybe age? The guy I bought her from said shes an IB but if she is then shes real old, any ideas would be great!
That's a confusing peahen. I've always been lead to believe if it has barring on the shoulder it's a male. It has the brown around the face like a hen and the green and white lacing like a hen. That's a really weird peahen. I've never seen an IB like that. I hope someone else will be better help then me.

She is a Spalding Peahen. Look at that forward pointing crest on the second picture. Spalding hens will also have more striping/barring than the IB hens have. Can't really say much about age, a good close up of her feet and toes may help. Like human hands Pea toes tend to get kind of bumpy and crooked when they get old.

her feet look the same as my 3 year old IB's so im thinking shes anywhere from 3-5 years. What do u think?
Her toes look really good, my old gals have awful looking toes, on some the nails are growing upwards now instead of downwards.

I would guess anywhere from 1 year to 5 years, is there any visible yellow on her cheek? At a year old my spaldings didn't have much yellow on the cheeks, but as they get older I see it more. And yes, she is very pretty!

I can see a tint of yellow but thats all:-)

This is a spalding hen at 1 year and 5 months, just seeing a trace of yellow on her cheek, she also has red flights (like your girl) which is a spalding thing, on India blue hens the flights are dark brown.
